From 2005 until 2010 he was a Member of the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), representing the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary and Slovakia.[2][3] He studied economics at the Corvinus University of Budapest (then the Karl Marx University), and later became associate professor of economic policy at the same institution. He also studied at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and in 1993 earned a master's degree in development economics at the University of Manchester. Since 1993 he has been editor of a progressive (leftist) Hungarian quarterly social science journal, Eszmélet (Consciousness). Since 2003 he has been a Member of the Board of the Economic Section of the Hungarian Socialist Party.
Prof. Erzsebet Kovacs

Prof. Eva Orosz
will be at Budapest with her remarks and keynote speech on "Health Policies in European Union". Éva Orosz is the Vice-Rector for Education at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest since August 2014. She is also act as head of doctoral programme in social policy and full professor at the Department of Health Policy and Health Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences. Between 2009 and 2014
Prof. Orosz was the head of Department of Health Policy and Health Economics and the director of the master programme in health policy, planning and financing that she established with her colleagues. She worked at OECD Health Division in Paris as full-time economist (on unpaid leave from ELTE) between 2002 and 2006, and as part-time economist between 2007 and 2010. She obtained her PhD degree in economics in 1993; habilitated in 2003; and got her DSc degree in sociology in 2004.
Her research has focused on comparative studies of health care systems; inequalities in health and health care; Hungarian health care reforms; accounting methodology and analysis of health expenditure and financing. She has provided short-term consultancy services several times for the OECD, WHO, World Bank since the early 1990s.
"Dr. Benish Chaudhry will be at Budapest with her keynote speech on “Changes in economies due to migration- A micro level analysis".
Benish Chaudhry has been working in the area of migration since 2004. She started working with the United Nations to analyze and forecast the effect of Brain Drain and Reverse Brain Drain on development. She worked on the micro level approach of Brain Drain, Reverse Brain Drain and Re-migration on development and economy.
She has been teaching in different business schools in United Arab Emirates for the past 4 years. She also runs the Middle East Community of Grow Movement- an organization that empowers African entrepreneurs with business skills by using technology. Currently, she is enrolled in her Post-Doctorate in Transportation Economics at IMOB, Belgium."
